1. Service Description

Japan Home Quest (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides English-language digital newsletters featuring curated information on Japanese real estate opportunities, market insights, and related content. This is referred to as the “Membership Service” or simply “Service.”

2. Pricing and Billing

We offer two subscription plans: USD 19 per month, and USD 119 per year. Subscriptions renew automatically on your signup date each month or year, depending on your chosen plan. All payments are processed securely via Stripe in U.S. dollars (USD). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel.

3. Delivery of Digital Content

All content is delivered digitally. You will receive newsletters by email and may also access members-only content through our members portal at https://japan-home-quest.ghost.io/.

4. Cancellation

If you subscribed on or before February 11, 2025, please go to https://app.gumroad.com/library, select “Japan Home Quest,” click “Manage Subscription,” then “Cancel.”

If you subscribed on or after February 12, 2025, please sign in to your account at https://japan-home-quest.ghost.io/#/portal/account, click “Change,” then “Cancel subscription.”

Cancellations will stop future billings. You will retain access until the end of the current paid period.

5. Refund Policy (No Refunds)

Due to the nature of our digital product, all payments are final and non-refundable. Cancel anytime to avoid future charges. We do not offer full or partial refunds for past billing periods.

6. Currency and Exchange Rates

All charges are in U.S. dollars (USD). If your bank performs currency conversion, any related differences or fees are your responsibility.

7. Intellectual Property

All newsletter content is protected under copyright. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable license to view the material. Redistribution or commercial use without written permission is prohibited.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

This newsletter provides general information only and does not constitute legal, financial, or real estate advice. We make no guarantees about accuracy or completeness. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid to us in the past 12 months.

9. Privacy

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be handled under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon being posted to this page. Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the revised terms.
